Luke Oliver developed a passion for horses and the racing industry from a very young age.
He grew up spending his weekends with family at the racetrack and he spent many hours a week studying form while completing his schooling.
Despite having a very successful career in the finance industry, a career in the racing industry was inevitable for Luke. He began working for several top Melbourne trainers, before becoming a foreman for Group 1 winning trainers Lee Freedman and James Riley.
Luke began training in his own right in 2004 and once Glenview Park saluted to give Luke his first winner, he has never looked back.
Luke has now trained 500 winners and has become one of the most respected trainers in Victoria.
