We purchased this athletic colt by All Too Hard with renowned bloodstock agent Paul Beamish at the recent Inglis Classic Yearling Sale for just $70,000. Physically, this colt has been selected for his strength, balance and a natural loose walk.

All Too Hard has firmly established himself as a sire of high-class performers, producing multiple Group 1 winners including Alligator Blood, and is renowned for getting horses that are tough, trainable and can compete at the top level across varied distances. As a racehorse, he was second to his half sister Black Caviar in the Horse Of The Year honours and was rated the equal highest 3yo colt in the World Thoroughbred rankings.

The colt is out of National Anthem, a Rock of Gibraltar mare who well proven as a producer. She has had six runners for six winners, including Parents’ Love, a high-class Hong Kong performer who won four races and earned over $700,000, along with multiple other city-class winners. Let’s also not forget what an amazing racehorse Rock of Gibraltar was, notably winning 7 consecutive Group 1’s!

The deeper pedigree is exceptional. National Anthem is a half-sister to Starspangledbanner, Champion European Sprinter and dual Group 1 winner, as well as stakes winners Barood and Gold Chant. The female line continues to produce elite performers, including Group 1 winners Amicus and Melbourne Cup placegetter Okita Soushi, underlining the depth, durability and international class of this family.

National Anthem had a year off before producing this foal which interestingly historically shows good progeny performance statistics.

This colt is an early foal. He comes with clean yearling xrays and a Grade 1 scope.
