Horse Overview

An exciting opportunity has become available to purchase a 7.5% share in lightly raced, winning four-year-old mare ISLA DELILAH, currently trained by Munce Racing.

This share is only available due to the unfortunate break down of one of the owning partnerships.

A stunning 4yo mare by Zousain, ISLA DELILAH in her first race campaign as a 3yo recorded 6 starts for 0-1-3 which was a fantastic record and in two of those starts she was very unlucky to not have broken her maiden, getting beaten just 0.6L over 1800m and 0.1L over 2200m.

After a spell she came back in for her next campaign bigger and stronger & broke her maiden in her 2nd run back over 1680m

From there we may have stepped her up in both class & distance a little quickly & she didn’t quite perform up to the stats of her win, so we have given her a short 4 week spell & then she’ll be back in very soon to continue on with her next preparation. Her current stats are 10: 1-1-3 with $39,560 in prize money.

ISLA DELILAH is a mare that puts in 100% every time and absolutely tries her heart out, which is what you want to see in a racehorse.

She is completely sound, lightly raced & will be back in work at Munce Racing shortly – there is a 7.5% share on offer due to a partnership break down. We see the potential of ISLA having more wins to come, and with her constitution, there seems to be no reason she can’t be racing well into 6-7 years of age & then being such a big strong girl and nicely bred, she will make an excellent broodmare down the track.
