Our sale day genius John Price picked this filly out as his star lot on day 1 of The 2024 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale in Melbourne, and co-incidentally at our final inspection, we spied Warwick Farm trainer Gary Portelli also heading back to inspect the filly. Gary’s interest is perfectly understandable and to be expected really as he not only trained Rebel Dane to win at Group 1 level but he also then produced his latest Golden Slipper winner Fireburn to be the highest rated daughter of the stallion. We both liked the filly, agreed not to bid against each other, and the result is that now she can be yours…

Yes, she’s an exceptional physical specimen allright, and not only has a nice loose walking action that screams ‘natural athlete’, but also a temperament that will make her easy to train-and that’s every racehorse trainer’s dream! 

This filly’s dam, Viva Dubai was a city winning two year old and has been a winning machine in the breeding barn, having produced seven foals to the races for six winners including Charity Wings who racked up just shy of $800k in prize money. It’s a family deep with winners, and noticeably, horses that got up and ran in their juvenile year.

Gary has the knack of getting his horses up and running early, and it’s a fair chance that we’ll see this filly at the races as a two year old, which means you won’t have to wait long for the action to start!

It’s Easy and Affordable

Standard 5% shares are $5,750, and include all costs to the end of March 2025. The syndicate fees are fixed at $295/month ($68.07/week), are billed quarterly in advance, and include all normal and expected racing, training, agistment, managment and communications, transport up to 300km per trip, farrier, and the one that we always get asked about-vet costs-all included. With the exception of annual insurance and the possibility of feature race payments (which is a bill you should hope to get because it means your horse is good enough to be in the big races), there should be nothing more to pay.
