This athletic and classy colt is by the Golden Slipper winning first season sire Stay Inside and hails from a very well related More Than Ready mare in Murchison. The first crop of yearlings by Stay Inside have been very well received, all seeming to have great minds coupled with a correct confirmation and a big overstriding walk. The results have also told the tale with a top lot of $1M, an average of almost $300k and being knocked down to some of the top judges on the complex. The stallion is also a son of the statistically most prolific sire in the country in Extreme Choice which can only be a positive.

The dam is a winning More Than Ready mare and hails from the G2 winning Rare Insight (ex O’Reilly) in turn making her a half sister to the Group One winning Steps In Time whom John trained. The Extreme Choice over More Than Ready is a proven cross with Group One winners having already been produced, this colt does appear a sharp early sprinting type he has the same quality of a potential stakes class horse.

We were wrapped to secure this yearling with a lovely attitude, massive overstepping walking and low risk vetting. If you are looking for an early two-year-old type this could be the colt to get there pre-Christmas.
