Lot 1384 hails from the family of Pierro and is bred on the same cross as Group One winner and stallion at stud Golden Mile. The cross has also produced Group Two winning Aft Cabin and had a further thirteen runners for nine individual winners. The colt is a classic example of book two value with numerous top class horses being sold through the sale over the years with the most recent example being Melbourne Cup winner Knight’s Choice. As an individual is quality bodied yearling with good strength, correct confirmation and low risk vetting.

To go with an imposing physical the colt boasts a pedigree littered with black type, featuring Pierro no less who was a five-time Group One winner including the two-year-old triple crown. Also on the page is the Group Two winning and Group One placed Ambience along with stakes horses such as Atmosphere, Estriella and Love Poem. The dam herself Snow White (Lonhro) won three races from six starts including a metropolitan grade race whilst being trained by John during his time at Godolphin and has two foals to race both winners.

The sire, Astern was also trained by John during his time at Godolphin when winning the Group One Golden Rose. He has also done the job at stud with countless stakes horses and as mentioned mating particularly well with Lonhro mares. We see the colt fitting in as a sprinter miler type who should be up and going in his two year old season.
