A classy colt by sire on fire, Alabama Express. A sire that has got off to a dream start at stud having already produced three stakes horses including a G3 winner from only seven runners to date. He is also responsible for Golden Slipper joint favourite Shangri La Express, which encouragingly was bred from the same great farm as this colt.
He comes from a G1 family out of Castle Queen, a winner at 1200m and half-sister to stakes winner Mabeel. He is such a cracking type that the mare has been sent back to Alabama Express on what is a proven cross – Redoute’s Choice blood matched with Kingmambo mares has produced 86.7% winners to runners.
This quality, athletic colt is a very exciting purchase given his breeding and maturity and we were delighted to purchase him for $240,000.
