SPECTACULAR LOOKING COLT BY CAPITALIST. FROM THE FAMILY OF MAKYBE DIVA.

WITH HER STAMINA IN THE BLOODLINE AND CAPITALIST’S SPEED, WHO KNOWS WHAT THIS GUY COULD BECOME!

Spectacular to look at, he’s a robust colt from the family of Makybe Diva. With her stamina in the bloodline and Capitalist’s speed, who knows what this guy could become!

He comes of a fantastic farm, Silverdale, who bred and consigned Group 1 Golden Slipper and Group 1 Sires Produce star, Fireburn.

Apart from the KAIZAD/Capitalist link, Mick Price was very keen to make sure we got this colt and hopefully we can continue our Gr.1 success with him. He trained Secret Agenda and Seabrook to win at the top level for us.

Our colt passed on his scope, x-rays and clinical examination and was rated as low risk.

Sire: CAPITALIST

CAPITALIST 4 wins at 2. Champion 2yo colt in Australia 2015-216. The highest earner of two-year-old prizemoney ever over $3.5 million. Winner of the Sire Making Group 1 Golden Slipper. The first colt to ever win the Breeders’ Plate, Magic Millions and Golden Slipper. Sire of the 2021 Millennium with Profiteer

“Capitalist was the best two-year-old I’ve ever ridden, in the Breeders’ Plate it was like driving a Rolls-Royce. He was breathtaking in the Magic Millions and outstanding against a top-class field in the Golden Slipper.” – Jockey Blake Shinn

“Capitalist was just the perfect two-year-old, blessed with a huge amount of precocity, and ability.”- Co-Trainer Peter Snowden

Capitalist was officially retired to stud at Newgate Farm in November 2016, having chipped a fetlock in training. Manager there, Henry Field, said, “Australia is all about two-year-old racing, and to have a champion two-year-old standing at Newgate is what everyone strives for. Capitalist is the embodiment of what works in Australia – he will be heavily supported by his group of owners.”

Dam: KENTUCKY DIVA

Kentucky Diva is by one of the world’s highest rated sires, FASTNET ROCK and out of the Group winning mare, VALKYRIE DIVA . Kentucky Diva had 2 wins at 1600m and 2100m. This is her second foal. Her first foal is a 2YO.

Kentucky Diva is closely related to champion Australian Thoroughbred racehorse, MAKYBE DIVA, who is the only horse to win three Melbourne Cups and the only mare to win it more than once.
