Our Bloodstock Guru Johnny Price Has Done It Again!
Horse Overview
This stunning looking filly by Dirty Work will head to Victoria’s newest Group 1 winning trainer Enver Jusufovic.
Enver or just plain ‘EJ’ as he is widely known, is based at the state of the art Cranbourne training complex. A self made man with an uncanny knack of unlocking a horses potential, we’ve been racing with EJ for the last 12 months and have loved every minute of it. Aside from his natural skill with horses, he’s a naturally funny man with the driest of wits, and is simply a delight to race with. Win, lose or draw, you’ll love having a horse trained by EJ.
We picked this filly up by the first season sire Dirty Work at the Magic Millions Adelaide Sale, a sale that Grand Syndicates has farmed very successfully over the years resulting in a plethora of winning horses. She was selected by our esteemed bloodstock guru John Price, whose list of winning purchases stretches from our Champion Behemoth, to the 11 individual winners to already salute this season. He has an unrivalled ability when buying late foals to envisage the finished product and he may well have struck gold again here. A tall and leggy filly at the sales, she’s been broken in to saddle, and after recently completing her early education, our breakers comment was “Johnny’s done it again”. Check out the video here:
The stallion was a speed machine and he is the best son of the stallion maker Written Tycoon to ever stand at stud in Victoria. He was victorious in the Schillaci Stakes, only elite sprinters win this race with the likes of Black Caviar, Miss Andretti and Buffering on the honour roll. The dam, Early Wakening was a five time winning mare and won races at the ultra competitive city Victorian level. She has had nine foals to the races for six individual winners and our filly is a half sister to the Group winning sprinter Ritchies Vibe. Our filly is bred on a very similar cross to her Group winning sibling, and she should possess the scope to get out to 1400m and maybe even to the mile. She’s all paid up for the lucrative $60,000,000 VOBIS bonus scheme too, which means more potential prizemoney for YOU!
It’s Easy and Affordable
Standard 5% shares are $2,575, and include all costs to the end of March 2025. The syndicate fees are fixed at $275/month ($63.46/week), are billed quarterly in advance, and include all normal and expected racing, training, agistment, managment and communications, transport up to 300km per trip, farrier, and the one that we always get asked about-vet costs-all included. With the exception of annual insurance and the possibility of feature race payments (which is a bill you should hope to get because it means your horse is good enough to be in the big races), there should be nothing more to pay.
A small number of 2.5% shares are available for those who just want to dip their toes in the water, and if that’s you, then just halve the figures above.
The syndicate brochure is now available.
