First came Asfoora, now the winner of eight races and $1.3 million. Then came Moaksun (Akeed Mofeed). He’s now a three year-old and can really gallop. He ran well on debut at Moonee Valley after bombing the start and getting into an impossible position, however there’s plenty of wins in store for him. Next in line was the Ilovethiscity x Golden Child colt, who’s now a two year-old but is showing good signs. The most recent member of the family is this lovely colt by first season sire Dirty Work, a stakes-winning son of Written Tycoon who stands at Widden Stud and has served 266 mares in his first two seasons at stud.

While nice individuals in their own right, each of Moaksun and the Ilovethiscity colt didn’t have much of a family resemblance to Asfoora. This colt however, albeit a better, stronger, more correct and more mature version, is a lot more like Asfoora. While not overly big he’s got good length, a great forearm and gaskin and a good top line on him. While each of the siblings to date have taken time to mature and get to the races, this colt appears more precocious and will be given every chance to get to the races in his two year-old seas
