Edge Thoroughbreds offers shares in GODFATHER, foaled 31 August 2020 by I Am Invincible (AUS) from Meliora (AUS). Godfather was originally purchased by the James Harron Bloodstock Colt Partnership for $1.1m at the 2022 Gold Coast Magic Millions January Yearling Sale. He was trained by Peter and Paul Snowden and raced on 5 occasions including winning the listed Phelan Ready Stakes on debut on 10 December 2022.

He is by Australia’s premier sprinting and stakes winning stallion, I am Invincible (AUS) out of Group 2 winner Meliora (AUS), also making him a full brother to the Group winning sprinter and stallion, I Am Immortal (AUS). He had tie-back surgery on his throat and a chip removed from each knee in April 2023 and has trialed and raced well since the surgery.

Following purchase by Edge Thoroughbreds, Godfather was gelded, spelled and commenced training with the Matthew Dunn Racing Stable at Murwillumbah. He has completed two trials for Matthew Dunn and won first up on 19 August 2024 at Ipswich in the Class 5 plate.
