2023 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale Purchase

This is the first time I have had the opportunity to buy a horse I regarded as an A on type, with a pedigree to match. After inspecting close to a full draught, this filly stood out loud and clear above the rest. We will be keeping a share in her as a broodmare prospect.

She is no doubt intelligent, showing a good attitude to the pressures of sale inspections. She possesses both a fluid and dynamic walk I couldn’t take my eyes off, her overstep and free hip action is among the best I’ve seen. Since purchasing her she has been broken in, spelled in scone and has had her first month of work at Hawkesbury, during which she has proven herself to be every bit the professional, taking all in her stride.

She is currently enjoying another spell out at Turranga Farm and will return to the stable mid June.

She has been bred and reared on good country by industry leaders, Silverdale Farm. Their success speaks for itself.

She’s all class. May she bring us much fun.
