Layne's StarSimon was able to find one of the steals of the sale late on day two with this outstanding filly by first season sire King’s Legacy.
KING’S LEGACY is one of the last sons of the great REDOUTE’S CHOICE at stud and from first inspections appears to be passing on plenty of quality to his first foals. He was one of the best two year old’s of his generation, securing the Group 1 double of the Sires Produce and Champagne Stakes.
Layne’s Star is a young mare with plenty to give, with one to go to the races for one winner. She hails from the family of weight for age star KERMADEC and stakes winners TRIPLE ELEGANCE and MOSS TRIP.
She was purchased for $35,000 + GST and sales costs.
