FAMILY OF PRECEDENCE AND TAVISTOCK

He was a stand-out colt for us at the Inglis Classic sale in Sydney hailing from the family of Melbourne Cup stalwart Precedence and stallion Tavistock.

Precedence was a ten-time winner of nearly $2million in prizemoney and a multiple winner if the Moonee Valley Cup. Tavistock was awarded Champion NZ Sprinter in 2009-10 and multiple Group 1 winner. This colt has it all, stamina and speed all through his pedigree.

By first season sire King’s Legacy, the only dual Gr1 winning 2yo by Redoute’s Choice and a $1.4million yearling purchase his yearling have reach $775,000 at the sales this year.

Our colt is already well-grown and should head to the breakers shortly to embark on his racing future. On his pedigree he has versatility over all distances and on looks was a standout.

He is to be trained at Flemington, the home of the Melbourne Cup, by Mark and Levi Kavanagh.
