LONHRO by OCTAGONAL was a champion racehorse winning 23 races with 11 at Group 1 level. He was a dynamic horse saluting the judge at ages 2, 3, 4 and 5 from 1100m to 2000m. Off the track he is a champion stallion who has produced 13 individual Group One winners with 5 standing at stud.

LONHRO’S progeny averaged $110,000 at the Magic Millions Gold Coast January Sale 2024 with his most expensive yearling selling for $180,000.

LADY AMANDA by CHOISIR winner and 7 placings from 14 starts. She showed above average ability but just couldn’t put it all together on the track. She has produced a genuine Saturday city class horse Kipyegon who has won twice and placed twice in city company.

Lady Amanda is the daughter of Calm Smytzer who was multiple Group performer including a Group 1. Her sister Star Karen is also a Group 1 performer.

She is by Broodmare sire Choisir amassing over $74 million in earnings. He is the broodmare sire of 6 individual Group 1 winners to date.

Trainer: ANNABEL NEASHAM

In 2016, Annabel took up the opportunity to travel to Australia – for what was meant to be a working holiday. She never left, and now can’t imagine being anywhere else.

Annabel started training in her own right in August 2020 and trained her first Group 1 winner Mo’unga in the Rosehill Guineas in under 8 months of training alone.

During her two years in charge of Ciaron Maher’s Sydney stable, Annabel savoured several major victories and assisted in guiding the careers of some exceptionally talented horses including Dubious, Away Game, Prague, Cellsabeel and Etah James.
