2024 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale Purchase.

This colt is an athlete. He has a powerful hindquarter, strong shoulder, short cannons and is built for speed. We loved him at the auction and we also have his 2yo half-sister, named Torque Lass. Paul Jenkins will train this colt for us and he also trains the sister, who he has a very high opinion of.

Lucky Vega is Yulong’s first season son of Lope De Vega who won at Gr.1 level in the Curragh Pheonix Stakes and running 2nd in the Newmarket Middle Park Stakes as a 2yo before training on to finish 2nd In the Gr.1 Royal James’s Palace Stakes at Ascot and 3rd in the 2000 Guineas at Newmarket.

This colt is Magic Millions qualified. He will head to the breakers in the Autumn before he continues his early education for the remainder of this year.

Not only is he a great type, but he also hails from a very nice family, full of stakes and city quality winners.
