A quality Chestnut filly with a great pedigree

The lease on this filly covers her 2, 3 and 4 year old racing seasons with an option to extend for an additional year

The filly is being trained by Jack Bruce @ Deagon

She was broken-in at Kolora Lodge – a facility that has a tremendously successful record with youngsters that they have broken in.  Reports from Kolora Lodge were very encouraging.  She has also now been through 3 preparations in Jack’s stables and he is very pleased and encouraged by her constant rate of improvement.

She was set to go to the races in late February when a simple trackwork injury delayed that.  We have given her plenty of time to recover from that injury and she will be back and ready to race, hopefully, before the end of the 2YO season.  We are happy to offer reduced fees on this filly until she is ready to go back into the full training program.

Her Vet Report and X-Rays have come through as ‘low risk’ with nothing to prevent her being a racehorse.

She has also been scoped with a Grade 1 result – which is perfect!

Her Sire – Merchant Navy

Merchant Navy was an exceptional racehorse on the track

He has been described as probably the fastest son of Fastnet Rock

Merchant Navy was an unbeaten 2 year old winning 3 from 3 – 1200m – 1400m

He was a dual Group 1 winning 3 year old

He also won a Group 2 and a Group 3 as a 3 year old – with placings in the Group 1 Newmarket and Group 2 Rubiton Stakes

Stands at the world-famous Coolmore Stud – who have enormous faith in him as a stallion

His oldest progeny are only 3 year olds

Currently sitting 5th on Australia’s 2nd season sires list

Sire of the 2023 Blue Diamond favourite in Steel City, who was desperately unlucky, whom Ciaron Maher paid $700,000 for at last year’s MM

His fillies sold at this year’s MM for up to $260,000

Her Dam – Too Discreet

This filly comes from the prolific winner-producing ‘Discreet’ damline

Too Discreet was a metropolitan winning race mare

She has produced 2 winners from only 3 to race – the 3rd is a multiple metropolitan placegetter

Our filly is closely related to  more than 13 Black Type winners including MAYBE DISCREET, JUST DISCREET, BE DISCREET, GILDED ANGEL, SHE’S DICREET, FOREVER DISCREET, I’M DISCREET, VERY DISCREET, MY ADVOCATOR, OAHU, HALO AGAIN, ORIENTAL RULER, SERENELY DISCREET
