Cracking Needs Further Colt To Be Trained In Victoria By Jason Warren!

Horse Overview

This great looking colt by Needs Further really is a case of deja vu for Team Grand. And we like methods that produce winners!

It’s the same yearling sale, the same stallion, the same farm, the same bloodstock agent, and ultimately the same trainer that have all come together to secure this colt for Team Grand that were responsible for our exciting city winner Dark Journey who has a very bright future ahead of him. John Price went to the Magic Millions Yearling Sale in Tassie with the same brief as before-to buy the best colt there in his opinion by Needs Further. John stood with trainer Jason Warren as the hammer dropped in our favour at $30,000, and whilst he was by no means the most expensive of the stallions stock to sell at the sale, as ever with John, he buys the one he wants which is not always the most obvious. Remember our motto here at Grand Syndicates: ‘In John We Trust’!

A strong and confident type, this colt was supremely relaxed throughout the sales process, and he has a real swagger to his walk.

Looking at his pedigree, he has the depth on his page to back up his physical type. His dam is a half sister to the Group 1 winning PLATELET, a real speed machine and the winner of the Group 1 Robert Sangster Stakes. What a Beauty was sharp enough herself to win on debut as a two year old and was multiple city placed and a winner over 1400m at Sandown. She is the dam of the six time winner Fast Plan and there is an abundance of speed throughout the whole family.

He looks to have the pedigree to get up and race as a late two year old with the scope to train on at three and beyond.

Of course, he’ll be trained at Mornington by the Group 1 winning trainer Jason Warren who’ll be giving both him, and importantly YOU, every possible opportunity to get you right where you want to be-IN THE WINNERS CIRCLE!

An Affordable Path to Racehorse Ownership

The current share price is $4,950, which includes the original share purchase price and the syndicate fees all paid right through to the end of 2024. Why cover the syndicate fees in the price? Because it’s only fair: early investors who have been contributing since the syndicate started won’t pay more than those joining today. The monthly syndicate fee is a fixed price, stress-free $275, billed quarterly, and it covers all essential costs—racing, training, agistment, vet care, and syndicate management—ensuring a worry-free, enjoyable ownership experience. Whilst we only bill the fees quarterly, we pay out your share of any prizemoney on a monthly basis, so 12 times a year.
