2024 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale Purchase

The jewel in the crown and without doubt Simon’s pick of the sale. This filly was purchased in conjunction with Monarch Racing.

By exciting first season sire OLE KIRK who was the champion colt of his generation, taking out the rare sire-making double of the Group 1 Golden Rose and the Group 1 Caulfield Guineas. We’ve really liked what we’ve seen of the Ole Kirk progeny this sales season and were over the moon to bring one home of this quality.

She’s out of a 2yo winning mare in Areti who is Street Sense and hails from a family absolutely packed with European stakes winners. She’s a striking, athletic chestnut filly with good bone who looks a ready made two year old type and one we’ll be looking to break in and get to the races early.

She was purchased for $150,000 + GST and sales costs.
