TILUSSION is a 3yo filly by dual Group 1 winner and Group 1 producing Sire “Russian Revolution”. The dam “Stallion Heiress” was a Listed Race winner and finished in the first four runners in 4 Stakes races.

Formerly with Gai Waterhouse and Adrain Bott, TILUSSION was purchased for $300,000 at the Gold Coast Magic Millions in 2022. Her early work was very promising with a Trial win first up and then 3rd place in a Trial behind 2022 Group 3 Blue Diamond Prelude winner “Exploring”.

She has raced just 4 times to date, securing a 2nd place on debut in NSW and then produced two sound efforts on the Victorian Country and Provincial circuit.

She has raced from 1000m out to 1400m and as typical of Waterhouse/Bott runners, she possesses plenty of natural gate speed, a huge weapon in the Northern Territory.

With the solid grounding from her former trainer and her on-pace style of racing, she looks well suited to Darwin Racing and will be targeted at the lucrative 3yo races over the fast approaching Darwin Cup Carnival. She also has the added benefit of being TROBIS nominated for both her 3 and 4yo seasons, with extra bonuses on offer.

She is in work now and is trained by NT Rising Star Trainer Chloe Baxter. We should see her at the races in late May early June and will be aimed at the upcoming Darwin Cup Carnival.
