It was late on the second day of the sale when Simon pounced on this cracking filly by sire of the moment, Too Darn Hot.
TOO DARN HOT has taken Australian by storm with ARABIAN SUMMER winning the Ballarat 2yo Magic MIllions Classic and TOO DARN LIZZIE winning the $500k Magic Millions Debut in recent weeks. Both fillies have shown blistering speed and will be well in the market in the feature 2yo races including the Group 1 Golden Slipper in coming months.

TOO DARN HOT was simply an outstanding racehorse, winning the best two year old race in the UK, the Group 1 Dewhurst over 1400m before graduating to three year old class where he won a further two Group 1 races. He stands at Darley for $44,000 and is making a huge impact in Australia after siring his first Group 1 winner in Europe, FALLEN ANGEL.

She looks a genuine speed filly who we’ve nominated for the Karaka Millions series and who knows – maybe we’ll be back here next year for the $1m 2yo Karaka Millions next year! The filly was purchased for NZ$150,000.
