We purchased this strong Yes Yes Yes colt at the recent Inglis Premier Sale for $160,000 from Twin Hills Stud.

He is out of the Hussonet mare, Isola, who has had two foals to race, both winners and City-performed. She was a winner of three races herself.

Twin Hills is fast becoming a leading stud under the guidance of Olly and Amber Tait. The Tait family are synonymous with Australian racing, which is prevalent in this colt’s pedigree.

The third dam is Whisked, who won a Group 1 Thousand Guineas amongst her three Group wins. She also produced the Champion racehorse Tie The Knot. He, like his dam, raced in the Tait family colours of red with a white cap.

I was taken by the movement of this colt and the way he carries himself. He looks like an early running type, much like his sire.

This is the first crop of The Everest hero Yes Yes Yes, the first three-year-old to win the $15 million race.

He has been leaving some lovely types, and the market has reacted well. This was one of the nicer colts I have seen so far.
