Anthony Cummings BIG GUNS TO RAMP UP SPRING CAMPAIGNS

Spring has sprung and the excitement is building here at Leilani Lodge as some of our stable stars prepare to ramp up their Spring Carnival campaigns in the coming weeks.

Talented mares LIBERTINI and MIZZY are set to step out in a barrier trial tomorrow in what marks a key hit-out ahead of their Spring campaigns.

MIZZY is likely to head towards the $500,000 Group 2 The Shorts at Randwick on September 19 ahead of a possible tilt at the $15 Million The Everest, while LIBERTINI may target the $1 Million Group 1 Moir Stakes at Moonee Valley on September 25 for her first-up assignment.

Trainer Anthony Cummings caught up with Sky Racing’s Richard Haynes at trackwork this week to discuss the latest on our stable stars.

VANCOUVER YOUNGSTERS CONTINUE TO SHINE

The progeny of Coolmore stallion VANCOUVER continue to shine on the racetrack, highlighted by Saturday’s impressive 3YO Moonee Valley Stakes winner NIGHT RAID.

We have a trio of exciting 2YOs by VANCOUVER coming through our system who are educated, broken-in and ready to go!

They all took another important step on the road towards the racetrack when they stepped out at the Randwick jump outs last FRIDAY!

CHECK OUT THEIR DETAILS BELOW

VANCOUVER x PAPER ROUND

2YO BAY COLT

This colt was a bargain in Anthony’s opinion and he was delighted to snap him up at the Inglis Melbourne Premier Sale. A colt with size, scope & strength, he is very exciting and will continue to improve over time.
